Preparing for the updated Children’s Homes inspection framework

Our training is designed to equip your leadership team with practical tools, strategic insights, and clear guidance so you can adapt seamlessly to evolving standards.
The Course
There are lots of changes coming to inspection in April, not just the structure of inspection itself and join-up with ILACS but also a new judgement around enduring relationships and the importance of evidencing inclusive practice. We will work with leaders and managers to consider the new framework and how best to prepare for the changes, particularly thinking about evidence and the work to be done now to be in a strong position in April.
Meet Your Trainer
Chris Freestone has held senior leadership roles in education, health and social care including roles as an inspector in both education and social care. Chris works alongside leaders in supporting the development of their operational and strategic practice – always with the child at the very centre.
Her style and approach is grounded in taking organisations forward on their journeys to improved outcomes for children and young people whether in an education , social care or health setting , working within the guidance and frameworks of the sectors. Chris also helps leaders and their teams to develop reflective practice and to ensure that a culture of continuous development is in place.
