Chris has a background as a head teacher, Ofsted inspector, head of faculty at an FE college and currently runs our leadership programmes. She’ll explore recent updates affecting the sector and share relevant advice and publications.

11:15 – Online Safety – Ken Corish, SWGfL

Ken is the Online Safety Director and Learning Lead with SWGfL and will be joining us to discuss the use of phone safety apps for parental control and reviewing location tracking and whether this amounts to electronic surveillance.

12:45 – Lunch Break

13:45 – Managing the Difficult Bits  –James Sage, RWK Goodman

James will be joining us to run a session on ‘managing the difficult bits’ with a focus on working well with staff when there are difficulties at work including disciplinary, grievance and sickness management processes.  James will also be on hand throughout the coffee breaks and lunch period should you wish to seek some initial advice on individual circumstances.
