Trauma Informed Residential Leads Support Programme

.

After consultation through our weekly RI meetings, we agreed to set up a specific group for trauma informed residential leads, building on the great feedback we received for our managers’ forum meetings.

Leading a therapeutic programme can be an isolating role and reflection is something that is best done with other people. dialogue has been supporting leads for child exploitation, participation and online safety for sometime. This new community, lead by Clair Davies MBE and Liz Cooper, offers four group sessions a year for those leading therapeutic work in their organisations aiming to share research, develop links and jointly consider their ideas and experiences for just £99 a year.

Outstanding homes place young people at the centre of all they do. Following consultation with Registered Managers and Responsible Individuals we are developing a community of practice for those holding lead responsibility for trauma informed practice within residential care.

We have put in place a low cost membership approach with regular meetings, CPD, joint project work and shared peer support to ensure young people in your home feel supported, heard and central to their development and that of the home.

Membership is open to anyone working in residential children’s care – it need not be a manager but someone taking a lead responsibility for trauma informed practice.

Participants pay £99 + VAT per annum to attend up to four forums a year. See below for details.

You’ll find the programme and support from other colleagues invaluable, but if you’re not sure add the code TRYFORFREE to the invoicing details and we will defer your first invoice a month. Simply let us know you’d not like to continue and we’ll cancel the invoice altogether.

Annual membership is then just £99 a year to attend all the sessions, with discounts for existing dialogue memberships and if your home joins one of our other communities of interest.
